This lake is so wonderful. Riverside Hills is a great local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at Bridges Bay Resort. While you're here at Minnewashta Lake you have to go to Cass Bay, and Lower Gar Lake is a magnificent lake close by. Lakes? Sure, Upper Gar Lake is in the neighborhood; enjoy a round of golf at Emerald Hills Golf Club.       Any time is a magnificent time at Minnewashta Lake if you go for the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Horseshoe Bend Trail is always a great adventure, and a day at Kruses Beach is time well spent. For the period of the summertime months at Minnewashta Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Minnewashta                  Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Minnewashta Lake you'll meet some folks from Spirit Lake for sure, and Minnewashta Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Arnolds Park City Campground is a great location to camp nearby. One of the best things about Minnewashta Lake is its proximity to Fillenworth Beach; close by you come across the Barney Peterson Memorial Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
