It's always fun to stop by Mile Hill Lake. Through the summer highs here at Mile Hill Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mile Hill Lake. So much cool stuff near Mile Hill Lake, just extraordinary. If you came for an overnight stay Tomes Country Club Acres Park is a good location to camp; a great location to go to is Boyer Hollow.

| | If time allows, Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is a national park worth going to, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Copper Creek Connector Trail. After a long day outdoors Western Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and near Mile Hill Lake you find a golf course called Glenwood Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Heartland Inn Council Bluffs. Lakes are tremendous; Folsom Lake is a lake that's next to Mile Hill Lake.

The yearly rain here at Mile Hill Lake is about average; most of the rain falls all through June; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. The nice folks of Omaha-Council Bluffs like to hang out close by, and why not camp at Haworth Park Campground if you're here at Mile Hill Lake.
