Go to Lower Y Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Don't leave Lower Y Lake without first going for a hike along the Tower Rock Nature Trail. All through the long summer days at Lower Y Lake highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lower Y Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lower Y Lake, do take a trip to Sheepshead Bay, and you can go for a hike on the River Route Nature Trail. Beaver Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out, and going for a hike on the Jackson County Recreational Trail is always a great adventure. course right next door to Lower Y Lake is Palisades Golf Course, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a brilliant place to get some rest.
Lower Y Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain; January
is the month with the least moisture. If you came to camp Lakewood Resort is a fine place to do that, and skiing at Chestnut Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Not far from Lower Y Lake, you'll hit upon Upper Y Lake
which is a charming lake, and if you need a place to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - SAVANNA is a delightful choice.
Camping at Fin An Feather is always a wonderful experience, and a day at picturesque Santa Fe Beach near Lower Y Lake is a tremendous thing to do.
