Camping is available at Riverview Campgrounds, and Half Moon Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. During the summer at Long Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Long Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Spring Lake Campground is always a wonderful experience,       and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Locust Lane Nature Trail. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Long Pond. Near Long Pond you discover great locations like Willow Bar. Here at Long Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Burlington, and a delightful nearby hotel is Edge of The River. Long Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month                  is February.
