Camping at Wilson Island State Park is always a great experience, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Desoto Bend Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Missouri Valley is a glorious choice, and going for a hike on the Copper Creek Connector Trail is always a       perfect adventure. High temperatures at Lone Tree Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's while Lone Tree Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
