The amount of rain that falls at Lizard Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lizard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grotto of the Redemption Campground is a magnificent place for that. Through the summer at Lizard Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and during summer       nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lizard Lake fall into the 0's.
