From a precipitation point of view Lizard Lake is a rather typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is mostly the driest month. Camping at Grotto Of The Redemption is always a fine experience, and Humboldt Super 8 Motel is a nice place to get some rest. Camping is available at Grotto of the Redemption Campground; North Twin Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.       This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lizard Lake, you could also have a look at beautiful Bass Lake, and Lizard Creek - SouthBr. has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Lizard Lake during the summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lizard Lake temperatures dip to the 0's.
