There's magnificent hiking along the Horseshoe Bend Trail, and during your stay here do have a look at nearby East Okoboji Beach. Don't leave Lily Lake without first going for a hike along the Barney Peterson Memorial Trail, and if you're here and you like golf, you can check out Brooks Golf Course. July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Very pretty scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Riverside Hills; lots of folks from Spirit Lake come here.
This lake is so wonderful. Why
not camp at Pioneer Beach Campground since you're here at Lily Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Spirit Lake/Okoboji. This site rules, just look at all the cool things to do close to Lily Lake. Bridges Bay Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest, and time spent at Moores Beach is always magnificent.
