It is a small,well kept park, very family orientated. I strongly recommend the campground or cabins for a nice, quiet get-away. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Samuel: I love lake miami. During the summer at Lake Miami highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Lake Miami tend to be in the 10's. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Rathbun Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and brilliant water scenery is available at Lake Miami Dam in close proximity to Lake Miami. Lake Miami gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and January is the month with the least moisture.
