Country Inn By Carlson Decorah is a perfect spot to get some rest, and Lake Meyer is right by the Oneota Drive Recreational Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lake Meyer; if you came to camp Waucoma Campground is a great location to do that. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do next to Lake Meyer. The Twin Springs Trail offers hiking at its best, and a round of golf at       nearby South Winn Golf & Country Club is a splendid way to kill some time. After a long day outdoors Hotel Winneshiek is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Lower Ice Cave Trail is wonderful fun. The warmest time of the year at Lake Meyer comes with high temperatures in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Meyer                  temperatures drop to the 0's. You could also have a look at Hawks Ponds since you're here at Lake Meyer; it's close by. At Lake Meyer Dam close to Lake Meyer there are some attention-grabbing things to see.
