You're probably addicted to lakes, Hawks Ponds is one of those nearby, and after a long day outdoors Hotel Winneshiek is a delightful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Meyer is right by the Oneota Drive Recreational Trail, and a golf course nearby is South Winn Golf & Country Club. Waucoma Campground is a tremendous       campground nearby. Lake Meyer is a good place of typical precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Lake Meyer throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; overnight lows at Lake Meyer during the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. Take a hike on the Lower                  Ice Cave Trail; if you've had enough of Lake Meyer, Lake Meyer is nearby. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lake Meyer.
