Cozy Camper Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground, and a golf course nearby is Lakeshore Golf & Country Club. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Afton, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the       20's, and night lows at Lake Afton during the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Supertel Inn and Conference Center is a fine place to get some rest, and not far from Lake Afton you'll hit upon Three Mile Lake which is a beautiful lake. Lake Afton gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month of the year is January.
