Lake Keokuk is a good place of common rain; September is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month. Do stop at Horton Lake in close proximity to Lake Keokuk, it's a beautiful lake, and nearby you come across the Locust Lane Nature Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Camping at Nauvoo RV Campground is always a brilliant experience, and if you're here, you could also pop by pretty Lost       Slough. Knights Inn Ft. Madison is a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Fork Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Kingsley Inn, and going for a hike on the Pollmiller Park Trail is always a magnificent adventure. If you came to camp Hilltop Campground is a good place to do that. This place, Lake Keokuk, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. At Lake Keokuk you always meet                  someone from Burlington, and in the neighborhood of Lake Keokuk you stumble on a golf course called Springlake Golf Club.
