The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Iowa Lake tend to be in the 10's. is when it's the driest. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Desoto Bend Trail, and if you've had enough of Iowa Lake, Carter Lake is nearby. A nice spot to camp here at Iowa Lake is Tomes Country Club Acres Park, and Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is one of the destinations that are delightful to stop at close by.
