A pleasant nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Lake Okoboji, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Barney Peterson Memorial Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Spirit Lake/Okoboji is a brilliant site to get some rest; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Fairoak Beach. While you're here at Horseshoe Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Spirit Lake, and Horseshoe Lake is not the only place nearby, Lazy Lagoon is a nearby lake.

Indian Hills Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. Cenla Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and why not stop by a swamp like Jemmerson Slough since you're here at Horseshoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Okoboji
Untd Mthdst Camp is a splendid local campground; if you get bored of Horseshoe Lake you could also take a look at close by Center Lake.
