Why not stop by Horseshoe Lake if you're passing through these parts. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Horseshoe Lake. Hit the beach if you want, Fairoaks Beach is practically right here; if you like swamps you're in luck, Jemmerson Slough is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Horseshoe Lake you'll probably meet some people from Spirit Lake, and close by you discover the Horseshoe Bend Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Horseshoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at White Oaks Camp Grounds. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Indian Hills Golf Club, | |

During the months of summer at Horseshoe Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake. Lakes? Sure, Center Lake is in the neighborhood; a splendid nearby hotel is Spirit Lake Super 8 Motel. Horseshoe Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
