Scales Pointe Campground and Marina
17 miles away
Bobber's Grill now has a wonderful Brunch on Sundays, yes every Sunday, prepared by Chef Mickey's Catering. You really need to get out, eat, and take a nice walk!...This campground has been closed.? There is now new ownership and it is called Scales Bend.? It is much cleaner than it used to be, the boat ''junk yard'' is gone and the pool is no more.? However there is a nice restaurant and lounge and the boat docks are great....This campground has been closed.? There is now new ownership and it is called Scales Bend.? Lake McBride
18 miles away
I have only been at Lake McBride once but I am definitely going back.  We have plans in the works to make a day of it in the very near future.  The first time was such a pleasant experience that we can't wait to spend more time there....I absolutly love this lake the fishing is good the water is clean and the beach is a nice place to cool off! My kids love it and the boating is relaxing nice and slow no confusion. And there are plenty of facilities if you're out in the boat if your kids or wife need to use the bathroom! And I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat from the livery for at least an hour. It is fun!...

Hannen Lake
19 miles away
I strongly disagree. Hannen lake is a beautiful all season lake. Fishing is good here. Although they have not kept up on there playgroung equipment. Thats all and its not a big deal. I recomend going there a few more times....This is the worst place I have seen. It used to be really nice up until last year. The ranger who runs it does not take care of it. They reserved spots for their family and they harassed my family the entire time. I do not recommend this place to any family looking to have fun....
