     Howard Johnson Burlington is a delightful location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Heaton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Odessa Campground is a brilliant place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Heaton Lake. While you're here at Heaton Lake, you could also take a look at pretty Gates Lake; it's a tremendous idea to have a look at Barlow Lake Drain. Heaton Lake gets a normal  
   amount of yearly rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
Twin Ponds is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can stay the night at 7 Ponds Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Heaton Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Burlington, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BURLINGTON is a good spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Heaton Lake commonly
 
               tend to be in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Heaton Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
