Cedar River

I drove there from Colorado because i heard there was a whitewater park built here, but didn't find one. It looked like there could be a wave there at some point but no eddy service. Is it possible I went to the wrong place? I went to Palisades-Kepler state park, at the bottom of the hill at the river, it was a wide open flat river with a low head dam that had been partially removed with a small rapid in it but nothing i could really play on. Is there another one somewhere else in Iowa that is running right now?...
