Stay the night at Matsell Bridge, and after a long day outdoors AmericInn Anamosa is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Goose Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the       most, and January is the month with the least moisture. A fine site to stop by in the neighborhood of Goose Pond is Hogs Den Hollow, and a round of golf at nearby Fawn Creek Country Club is a glorious way to kill some time. At Goose Pond through the summertime highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
