For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Geode Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Geode Lake sink into the 10's. Geode Lake is a splendid place to camp, Wally World Campground is a splendid place, and enjoy a round of golf at Deerwood       Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Creek flows through this region; if you need a place to stay Ft. Madison Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Here at Geode Lake there are plenty of folks from Keokuk-Fort Madison. From a precipitation point of view Geode Lake is a relatively typical spot; September is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Travelodge - Fort                  Madison is a tremendous location to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Pollmiller Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Camping at Geode Lake is perfect fun, Lake wilderness Camping is a perfect local campground, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Locust Lane Nature Trail.   Ft.
