Do stop by Folsom Lake while you're in this part of Iowa. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Council Bluffs is a great place to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Folsom Lake you could also stop at close by Mile Hill Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Glenwood Golf Course, and needless to say, A spree to Boyer Hollow is always fun. A wooded area in close proximity to Folsom Lake is West Oak Forest,

the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Folsom Lake fall into the 10's.
