Why not camp at J and J Camping since you're here at East Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Sockum Ridge Park Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Lake wilderness Camping is a great place to camp; you can go for a hike on the Pollmiller Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because MT Pleasant Golf & Country Club is nearby, and if you need a place       to stay Heartland Inn Mt. Pleasant is a great choice. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do near East Lake. There's pleasant hiking along the Shimek Forest Trail; a fine nearby hotel is Brazelton Hotel and Suites. All through the summer at East Lake highs are frequently in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at East Lake.
