Lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Doc Wood Lake near Dead Lake; there are plenty of folks from Clinton here. High temperatures at Dead Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Dead Lake. A pretty lake like Alligator Lake next to Dead Lake is a splendid place to stop at, and Dead Lake is magnificent enough

So many fun things near Dead Lake, simply mind-blowing. Beaches are great; and Santa Fe Beach in the neighborhood of Dead Lake is no exception; Sheepshead
Bay is close by and always fine to stop by. Dead Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water
close by, Beaver Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here, and the Jackson County Recreational Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
