Any time is a good time at Coralville Lake if you like the outdoors. A good site to camp here at Coralville Lake is Jolly Roger Campground. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lake is in the neighborhood. Summer at Coralville Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and night       lows all through the winter for Coralville Lake tend to be in the 0's. Coralville Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Sleep Inn North Liberty, and if you're dropping by from Iowa City, you won't be the only one. Coralville Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Colony Country                  Camp Grounds is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cedar River. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Quail Creek Golf Course, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Swan Lake.
