Do stop by Cone Lake while you're in this part of Iowa. The annual precipitation here at Cone Lake is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. While you're here at Cone Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Muscatine. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Cedarcrest Country Club is a tremendous way to kill some time; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge West Liberty.

| | a long day outdoors Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is a delightful site to spend a night or two; West Liberty Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby. During the summer at Cone Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Cone Lake tend to be in the 10's. Pike Creek flows through this neighborhood; Maple Lane RV Campground is a splendid local campground.
