Go to Briarstone Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Briarstone Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Briarstone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mason City Campground is a wonderful place for that, and paddling on Winnebago River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Briarstone Lake there are plenty of people from Mason City, and Super 8 - Mason City is a great place to get some rest. At Briarstone Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's.
