If you are in Clayton county it's always a good idea to stop by Big Pond. Just can't get enough of Big Pond. If you're here, you might as well check out Kline Hunt Hollow, and the panoramas at Effigy Mounds National Monument will blow your mind. There's some flowing water close by, Miners Creek is a stream you can visit while here, and in the neighborhood of Big Pond you hit upon a golf course called Guttenberg Golf & Country Club.

place to get some rest. Nelson Dewey State Park is a great campground nearby, and a perfect close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Prairie Du Chien.
