Miners Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to; Super 8 Motel - Prairie Du Chien is a magnificent site to get some rest. Why not camp at Nelson Dewey State Park if you're here at Big Pond; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Bluffview Inn & Suites. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. Big Pond is in the vicinity of Kline Hunt Hollow which is beyond doubt worth checking out, and lakes are such calm

| | spots, why not go to Ferry Lake. There are other places here than Big Pond, for example Frenchtown Lake, and a journey to Effigy Mounds National Monument is worthwhile. Summer at Big Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Big Pond has lots of interesting things to see, and Lock and Dam No is not far at all from Big Pond. Big Pond is a good place of common rain; August is when you get the most rain here while January is ordinarily the driest month.
Camping is available at Guttenberg RV Park, and golf can be played at Guttenberg Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful.
