Big Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Stay the night at Maple Lane RV Campground; a great close by hotel is Alexis Park Inn and Suites. The annual precipitation here at Big Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is July while February is frequently the driest month. Hiking along the Sockum Ridge Park Trail is great fun, and if you need a place to stay Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is a great choice.
