The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Big Lake, and the night is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in       the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Big Lake tend to be in the 0's. Effigy Mounds National Monument is a very brilliant place to explore right next door to Big Lake, and why not explore a swamp like Ferry Slough if you're here at Big Lake.
