The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Big Keller Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Big Keller Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Big Keller Lake, you can go for a hike along the Tower Rock Nature Trail, and why not take       a look at Sheepshead Bay also if you're here. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and Lakewood Resort is a great local campground. If you're hooked on cool geologic features, try Cavanaugh Bottom, and since you're here, you could check out Beaver Creek. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Big Keller Lake, so little time. Just can't get enough of Big Keller Lake. While you're here at Big Keller Lake you can take a hike along the                  River Route Nature Trail; lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Little Keller Lake. Big Keller Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and January on the other hand is the driest. A delightful lake like Upper Y Lake close to Big Keller Lake is a great spot to stop by; a round of golf at nearby Palisades Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. If you're looking for a beach right next door to Big Keller Lake, we recommend Santa Fe Beach; dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - SAVANNA. This lake is so wonderful.
