Through the summertime months highs here at Big Keller Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Big Keller Lake. Big Keller Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls all through June, and January on the other       hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Sheepshead Bay near Big Keller Lake is always a good idea; if you came for an overnight stay Fin An Feather is a fine place to camp. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big Keller Lake. Camping is available at Lakewood Resort, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a good spot to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the Tower Rock Nature                  Trail, and Super 8 Motel Savanna IL is a good place to get some rest. If you get bored of Big Keller Lake, you could also visit nearby Upper Y Lake, and Cavanaugh Bottom is an interesting place to explore while at Big Keller Lake. Going for a hike on the Jackson County Recreational Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Palisades Golf Course is around here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Big Keller Lake. Hit the slopes at Chestnut Mountain around here, and the great folks of Clinton like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. Little Keller Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; if you're looking for some flowing water?
