This lake is so wonderful. Big Goose Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Odessa Campground is a splendid  
   local campground, and getting to Cleveland Slough from Big Goose Pond is painless. Summertime highs at Big Goose Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Big Goose Pond temperatures descend to the 10's.
