Through the long summer days here at Bass Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights       at Bass Lake are in the 0's. You'll meet a lot of people from Fort Dodge here, and there's whitewater on Des Moines River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Grotto of the Redemption Campground is always a magnificent experience, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Lizard Creek - SouthBr..
