This lake is so wonderful. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Balls Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Balls Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The winter comes with       highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Balls Lake drop into the 0's. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Missouri Valley is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; there are other sites here than Balls Lake, for example Horseshoe Lake. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Balls Lake. Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is a great local destination here at Balls Lake, and Balls Lake is good enough to spend                  more than a day at, Woodland Camp Park Manager is a good local campground. There's so much to do here at Balls Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wilson Island State Park is a splendid location for that, and why not stop by nearby Fish Lake if you're here at Balls Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Boyer Chute Trails is a great hiking trail near Balls Lake; lots of people from Omaha-Council Bluffs come here.
