Badger Lake gets a normal amount of rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here       at Badger Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Fort Dodge, and Badger Lake is right by the Brushy Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ft. Dodge is a good spot to spend a night or two; get dripping wet paddling on Soldiers Creek. Summertime highs at Badger Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours                  in the winter at Badger Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
