Waipuhi Fishpond is a nice lake to visit. Honokaope Bay is in the neighborhood and always great to pop by, and a wonderful close by hotel is Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows. A day at Waialea Beach next to Waipuhi Fishpond is time well spent. After a long day outdoors Mauna Lani Terrace Condominiums is a nice site to spend a night or two, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Puako-Waimea Trail.

| | at Waipuhi Fishpond temperatures are regularly in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 70's while Waipuhi Fishpond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 60's. One of the best things about Waipuhi Fishpond is its proximity to Hapuna Beach, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Hopeaia Fishpond. has it all. Waipuhi Fishpond is close to Nawahine Rock which is without doubt worth visiting, and the Kawaihae-Puu Hue Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Waipuhi Fishpond you
can take a hike along the Kiholo-Puako Trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel Golf Course. Waipuhi Fishpond is pretty waterless mostly; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
