If you want to hit the beach, Waipouli Beach is close at hand, and some nearby water       includes Kw Stream. Going for a hike on the Kalalau Trail is always a good adventure; after a long day outdoors Outrigger La Nani is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Wailua Reservoir is a relatively wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls during January, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
