Don't leave Waikaia Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Alakai Swamp Trail, and it's a good idea to stop by Aakukui Stream. Nothing beats kicking back at Davidsons Beach, and the fine folks of Kapaa like to hang out nearby. There are fine places to discover along the Nualolo Trail; a splendid place close by is Aakukui Valley. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Hanalei; a lovely                  lake like Kalaeloa Reservoir is a splendid place to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Glass Beach is a beach next to Waikaia Reservoir that you can have a look at, and after a long day outdoors Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages is a fine place to spend a night or two. Not much rain falls here at Waikaia Reservoir; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be.
