If you are in Maui county it's always a good idea to stop by Waieleele. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Waieleele. Wailuaiki Stream is a great spot to go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Waieleele; Halemauu Trail is a fine local trail. Good hiking is available along the Kaup Trail, and the panoramas at Haleakala National Park will blow your mind. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sliding Sands Trail, and Mokulau

Hotel Hana-Maui is a good site to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Wainapanapa. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at TropoHouse B&B. Through the summer at Waieleele highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 70's, and overnight lows at Waieleele through the winter | |

If you came to camp Hosmer Grove Campground is a good location to do that, and on a wonderful day you can visit Kea Beach. The high level of precipitation makes Waieleele a quite wet place; March
is the month that gets the most rain while June is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Waieleele that you need to camp here for a while, Oheo Campground is a great site for that, and Phakuplaha is a peak you can spot from Waieleele.
