Kahoopulu Stream is a nice spot to have a look at, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail. A fine panorama of scenic Anahola is available from Waiawaawa Reservoir, and don't leave Waiawaawa Reservoir without first checking out Waipahee Slide. Waiawaawa Reservoir generally gets a great deal of rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | This lake is so wonderful. The Alakai Swamp Trail is a great hiking trail close to Waiawaawa Reservoir, and if you've had enough of Waiawaawa Reservoir, Mimino Reservoir is close by.

looking for a beach nearby we recommend Anahola Beach. Through the summertime months at Waiawaawa Reservoir highs are mostly in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally
in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Waiawaawa Reservoir.
Paddling on Hanalei is so much fun. If you need a location to stay Vacation International Pono Kai is a fine choice, and since you're here you will meet lots
of people from close by Kapaa. This lake is so wonderful. Some good nature is available in Kelia Forest Reserve, and after a long day outdoors Kawaihau Sports Villa Condos is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
