A visit to Waiawaawa Reservoir is always a good idea. At Waiawaawa Reservoir you can distinguish Anahola, and a forest close by is Kelia Forest Reserve. This lake is so wonderful. Kahoopulu Stream is a stream that you may encounter while you're here; Vacation International Pono Kai is a glorious place to get some rest. While you're here at Waiawaawa Reservoir you can take a hike along the Alakai Swamp Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Kapaa here.

| | Waiawaawa Reservoir is a rather wet place frequently with a lot of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. Opae Kalaole Falls is a charming place to pop by while you're at Waiawaawa Reservoir, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Waipahee Slide is right here.

you're most likely interested in lakes, Wailua Reservoir is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Outrigger La Nani is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and time spent at Kelia Beach is
always wonderful. Summer at Waiawaawa Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 60's while Waiawaawa Reservoir night
low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 40's.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hanalei, and a day at pretty Anahola Beach right next door to Waiawaawa Reservoir is a pleasant thing to do.
