From Waiakuhi you get a nice sight of Kuili, and Kahuwai Bay is nearby and always perfect to go to. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Waiakuhi you can take a hike along the Huehue Hualalai Trail; Makalei Hawaii Country Club is a good golf course nearby. Waiakuhi gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and August is the month with the least moisture. Kona Village       Resort is a wonderful location to get some rest; a day at gorgeous Kaplehu Beach close to Waiakuhi is a perfect thing to do. Just can't get enough of Waiakuhi. Dry warm beds await you at Vista Waikoloa Condominiums. Spend the day on the beach at Kukio Beach if you're here at Waiakuhi; the Kiholo-Puako Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Summertime at Waiakuhi comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into                  the 70's.
