Put some time aside to spend at Kilauea Falls since you're here at Waiakalua Reservoir, and at Waiakalua Reservoir you always meet someone from Kapaa. So many fun things to do here at Waiakalua Reservoir, too wonderful to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Kaluaa Stream is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and going for a hike on the Alakai Swamp Trail is always a glorious adventure.

Waiakalua Reservoir gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; September on the other hand is the driest. a lazy day on the beach at Waiakalua Nui Beach, and you'll hit upon a lovely lake called Ka Loko Reservoir. During the summer highs here at Waiakalua Reservoir get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For
the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Waiakalua Reservoir temperatures dip to the 40's.
