Dry warm beds await you at Hale Kakahi, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Waikupanaha Pond. While you're here at Waiaka Pond you can take a hike along the Napau Crater Trail. Volcano

               is close by. At Waiaka Pond through the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 70's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Waiaka Pond temperatures dip to the 60's.
Hiking along the Kalapana Trail is brilliant fun, and a nice beach nearby is Kalapana Beach.
