The Naulu Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Waiaka Pond, and if you need a location to stay Chalet Kilauea Collection is a magnificent choice. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. A wonderful nearby hotel is Kilauea Volcano Cottages, and a striking lake like Queens Bath is a pleasant place to go to. If the weather is wonderful here at Waiaka Pond, you can go       for a hike along the Kalapana Trail, and while you're here you must pop by Kii. If you want to hit the beach, Kamokuna is close at hand; if you have the time, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Waiaka Pond called the Napau Crater Trail, and you should certainly check out stunning Kalapana Beach while you're here.
