North Fork Kaukonahua Stream is a brilliant local stream, and you can spend the day on the beach at Kaiaka Bay Beach. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Wahiawa Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Camp Mokuleia, and going for a hike on the Dupont Trail is always a pleasant adventure. After a long day outdoors Makaha Resort is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and you can       go for a hike on the Kawailoa Trail. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Wahiawa Reservoir is so good! A perfect spot to visit close to Wahiawa Reservoir is Waikloa Gulch, and near Wahiawa Reservoir you hit upon a golf course called Hawaii Country Club. There's so much to do here at Wahiawa Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Timberline is a great spot for that, and a day at striking Haleiwa Army Beach next to Wahiawa Reservoir                  is a good thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. Wahiawa Reservoir is not far at all from Honolulu. From a rainfall point of view Wahiawa Reservoir is a relatively common place; January is the month that gets the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Wahiawa Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 70's while Wahiawa Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful.
