Through the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Upper Helemano Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 70's; winter nights come with lows in the 50's to Upper Helemano Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Kawailoa Trail is always a fine adventure, and Turtle Bay Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest.       This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Honouliuli Contour Trail; beaches are brilliant and Maeaea is no exception. Upper Helemano Reservoir truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. For you golfers we recommend close by Hawaii Country Club, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Honolulu here. Go for a hike on the Summit Trail, and a day at Haleiwa Army Beach is time well spent.
