Why not stop by Ukoa Pond if you're passing through these parts. Kawailoa Beach is in close proximity to Ukoa Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and an out of the ordinary thing to visit near Ukoa Pond is Haleiwa Boat Harbor. An average amount of precipitation falls at Ukoa Pond; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Ukoa Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. good hiking is available along the Mokuleia Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Kaiaka Bay is not far from Ukoa Pond at all, and why not camp at Camp Timberline since you're here at Ukoa Pond. Go for a hike on the Dupont Trail,
and if you need a place to stay Makaha Resort is a good choice. Hit the beach if you want, Papailoa Beach is practically right here, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Ukoa Pond is Camp Mokuleia. While you're here at Ukoa Pond it's a splendid idea to check out Lauhulu, and Kawailoa Gulch is around here, and is a nice place.
