Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hanalei. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Puulani Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 80's with temperatures at Puulani Reservoir dipping down into the 60's all through winter nights. If the weather is nice here at Puulani       Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Nualolo Trail, and don't leave Puulani Reservoir without first paying a visit to Waipuloku Spring. Going for a hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there are plenty of folks from Kapaa here at Puulani Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous location to stop at next to Puulani Reservoir is Hanonui Gulch, and Ahuaeliku Peak is a peak you can spot from                  Puulani Reservoir.
