In Hawaii there are many beautiful lakes, Puuhi Reservoir is one of them. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Poipu Bay Golf Course is around here, and you need to go to Makawehi Bluff if you're here. An average amount of precipitation falls at Puuhi Reservoir; January is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.

| | There are wonderful places to look at along the Alakai Swamp Trail.
On a delightful day you can go to Makawehi right next door to Puuhi Reservoir, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hanalei. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Puuhi Reservoir you hit upon Kaneaukai; Puuhi Reservoir is a nice lake nearby. The good people of Kapaa like to hang out nearby, and Poipu Shores is a great site to get some rest.

Through the long summer days at Puuhi Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 70's; nighttime lows in the 50's for
Puuhi Reservoir. A day at stunning Shipwreck Beach in the neighborhood of Puuhi Reservoir is a pleasant thing to do, and if you need a place to stay Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort & Spa is a great choice. At Puuhi Reservoir you can see Kalapa, and going for a hike on the Mhihi Waialae Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
