Hawaii has many beautiful lakes and Puu o Hewa Reservoir is one of them. At Puu o Hewa Reservoir you don’t see much rain; all through January this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. Time spent at Hoai Beach next to Puu o Hewa Reservoir is always brilliant, and while you're here, you might as well pop by Knudsen Gap. Summer at Puu o Hewa Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's.

You're sure to run into some nice folks from Kapaa here; Club Intrawest - Kauai is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hanalei is a brilliant whitewater spot right next door to Puu o Hewa Reservoir, and the top of Kahoano is easily spotted from Puu o Hewa Reservoir.

This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Huinawai Reservoir is around here, and dry warm beds await you at Poipu Kai Resort. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Puu o Hewa Reservoir. The
Alakai Swamp Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Puu o Hewa Reservoir, and Kiahuna Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. On a fine day at Puu o Hewa Reservoir you can take a hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail, and you can spend
the day on the beach at Beach House Beach.
Getting to Omao Stream from Puu o Hewa Reservoir is painless, and nearby you find the Nualolo Trail which is a great hiking trail.
