And that's not all you can do here at Puu o Hewa Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Hanalei offers some great whitewater; Kiahuna Golf Club is a great golf course close by. Not far from Puu o Hewa Reservoir, you'll locate Pia Mill Reservoir which is a striking lake, and swing by Omao Stream it's a fine       place to explore. On a gorgeous day you obtain a panorama of Kahoano from Puu o Hewa Reservoir, and on a wonderful day you can stop at Hoai Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Nihi Kai Villas; time spent at Beach House Beach is always pleasant. While you're here at Puu o Hewa Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby Kapaa, and a great location to stop by is Knudsen Gap. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Puu o Hewa Reservoir,                  and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 80's; nighttime lows at Puu o Hewa Reservoir throughout the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 60's. Near Puu o Hewa Reservoir you hit upon the Nualolo Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Puu o Hewa Reservoir; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
