Go for a hike on the Hilo Trail, and time spent at Machida Beach is always       perfect. Going for a hike on the Maulua Trail is always a nice adventure; Hilo Seaside Hotel is a perfect place to get some rest. Spend the day on the beach at Bakers Beach while you're here at Puainako Reservoir; do put some time aside to spend at Kamana Springs if you're here at Puainako Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here, and let's not forget                  Alenaio Stream which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. This spot rocks, just explore all the fun stuff to do close to Puainako Reservoir. On a beautiful day you get a vista of Hlai from Puainako Reservoir, and a golf course close by is Naniloa Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Puainako Reservoir a wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest.
