Going for a hike on the Mhihi Waialae Trail is always a good adventure, and there are plenty of folks from Kapaa here. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a nice view of Kahoano from Omao Reservoir, and Beach House Beach is a picturesque beach to have a look at. Summertime highs at Omao Reservoir generally tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 80's while the cold winter nights at Omao Reservoir are in the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Alakai Swamp Trail, and in the neighborhood of Omao Reservoir you stumble on a golf course called Kukuiolono Golf.
