If you need a location to stay Aloha Beach Hotel Kauai is a magnificent choice; Kalepa Forest Reserve is a wonderful local forest. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Okinawa Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail. Enjoy a round of golf at Kauai Lagoons Golf Club not far from Okinawa Reservoir, and if you get bored of Okinawa       Reservoir you could also check out nearby Pukaki Reservoir. All through the days of summer at Okinawa Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's; the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 70's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Okinawa Reservoir dip into the 50's. Okinawa Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Kapaia Reservoir is a nearby lake, and Kalapaki Beach                  is a pretty beach to explore. The yearly rainfall here at Okinawa Reservoir is about average; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture.
