The high level of rainfall makes Nuu Salt Pond a reasonably wet spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is September. High temperatures at Nuu Salt Pond through the summertime months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime       are in the 70's, and night lows at Nuu Salt Pond throughout the wintertime generally descend into the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Kaup Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Waipu is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. While you're here at Nuu Salt Pond you can take a hike along the Sliding Sands Trail, and a visit to Waiu Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings. This                  lake is so wonderful. Taking a little tour to close by Apole Point is a magnificent idea; the panoramas at Haleakala National Park will blow your mind. A magnificent nearby hotel is Maui Condos Online. There's so much to do here at Nuu Salt Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Oheo Campground is a tremendous location for that. If the weather is great here at Nuu Salt Pond, you can go for a hike along the Halemauu Trail; you can hit the beach if you want, Mokulau Beach is practically right here. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Nuu Salt Pond has it all. If you came to camp Hosmer Grove Campground is a brilliant site to do that, and Hawelewele Gulch is in the neighborhood, and is a good place.
