You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Mlii Pond. Mlii Pond is a quite wet place mostly with lots of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mlii Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along       the Castle Trail; while here here do visit nearby Kanenelu Beach. Camping is available at Camp Timberline; why not have a look at Kaio Point also if you're here. Summertime at Mlii Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 70's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Mlii Pond temperatures drop to the 60's. A day at Kualoa Sugar Mill Beach right next door to Mlii                  Pond is time well spent; if the weather is delightful, you obtain a nice panorama of Puuknehoalani from Mlii Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Waihole Stream, and after a long day outdoors Pacific Marina Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Summit Trail is wonderful fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Kahaluu Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Honolulu come to Mlii Pond, and camping at Honolulu Koa Kampground is always a splendid experience.
